The new Ford Shelby at NAIAS is just about the coolest car I’ve ever seen. It’s polished to a mirror finish and I took several photos of my reflection in it which was pretty fun. I was doing that and all of the sudden Caroll Shelby was standing right next to me and the papparatzi swarmed in, all wanting to capture him and his car. If you don’t know who he is, he’s one of the pioneers of Ford racing and Mustangs and is just about one of the most recognizable and important figures in all of automotive history. Anyway, I turned around and took a few photos – it was so lucky because I just happened to be in the right place at the right time and captured something really valuable. Hopefully not too many media outlets will be broadcasting Shelby with me in the background taking photos of myself ;), but I guess there are worse things.
The first reflection photo with my eyes darting off to the left is the moment I saw him! haha.
